About Jody Fisk – Management and Project Manager

Jody has distinguished herself as one of the top builders in Northwest Michigan.  Jody is one of a relative handful of women builders in the state of Michigan.  With a BA in Economics, with Honors, from the University of Michigan and a very successful career as a project manager for both General Motors and The Dow Chemical Co., Jody successfully combined her education and experience together with her passion for detail and construction to create Beacon Bay Construction, LLC.

A licensed builder since 1991, Jody's signature has always been the "character" that she builds into a project along with her commitment to ensure that the project is done right and on budget. 

Licensed Builder - since 1991.  Board Member of the Grand Traverse Area Home Builders Association, MAHB and NAHB., Beacon Bay Construction and Jody have been featured in Michigan Builder Nov/Dec 2007, Welcome Home, Welcome Home Fall/Winter 2007, and Northern Woman Quarterly .  Jody is a NAHB certified Aging-In-Place specialist (CAPS) and Certified Green Professional (CGP). 

About Joe Francetic – Site Crewleader 

Joe is a man who’s calling in life is construction.  Drawn to the trade at an early age, Joe has many distinctions.  One standout is that Joe was and is the youngest person ever, in the State of Michigan, to become a journeyman carpenter.  He was only 18 when he reached this milestone.  Now, with over 12 years of experience, Joe has the job and leadership experience that men twice his age would envy.  Joe began his tenure at Schultz Construction (Freeland, Michigan) in 1994 and his exceptional abilities made him a foreman within two years.  In 1996, Joe joined Gilmore Construction (Frankenmuth, Michigan) and while there was also a crew leader on several commercial projects.  Joe formed his first construction company in 1999.  Some of his experience includes: Frankenmuth River Place, Country Meadows Retirement Community (Bay City, Michigan), Comfort Inn (Saginaw, Michigan), various National Heritage Academies throughout Michigan.  Numerous homes and condo developments throughout Northern Michigan.
